A striking aragonite aggregate from Morocco, composed of numerous intergrown prismatic crystals arranged in a dense, three-dimensional cluster. The specimen displays a rich orange to reddish-brown coloration caused by iron impurities, while the crystal faces exhibit a pleasing vitreous luster and distinct vertical striations. Larger barrel-shaped crystals are surrounded by countless smaller individuals, creating an attractive and highly textured appearance. Such aragonite formations are characteristic of low-temperature carbonate-rich environments, where rapid growth leads to the development of complex crystal aggregates with remarkable aesthetic appeal.
